How to play MEKZ
Every robot starts as a small core. Parts make you big, and the biggest robot wears the crown.
- Drive over parts lying in the arena: they bolt onto you at once. Arms are guns, legs make you faster, plates protect your core.
- Shoot parts off other robots. Every gun you wear fires at your cursor (or where your right thumb points).
- Rip them off. Parts that glow red are badly hurt: hit them with the rip hook (right click, E, or the RIP button) to tear them off and reel them in.
- Execute. A core that glows red is finished: hook it to scrap the whole robot and rain its parts.
- Boost with Space (rocket legs or a jetpack) to escape or to chase.
Controls
Keyboard and mouse
WASD to drive, mouse to aim, left click to fire, right click or E to rip, Space to boost, 1-4 for emotes, Esc for the menu.
Phone and tablet
Left thumb drives, right thumb aims (push to the edge to fire). RIP and BOOST sit by your right thumb. Works upright and sideways.
Gamepad
Left stick drives, right stick aims, RT fires, LT rips, A boosts.
Tips
- Gold parts are the strongest. A gold drop is worth a fight.
- Keep plates between you and the biggest robot: they guard your core.
- Big robots are slow. Small ones dodge.
- Every run earns Cash for paints, trails and core designs in the garage.
